Kara Douglas

Kara Douglas is Fishmoon Yoga’s primary teacher, offering weekly classes, workshops & retreats throughout the year. Kara has been practicing yoga since 1998 and teaching since 2001. Trained primarily in the Pranakriya, Kripalu and Yin Yoga traditions, with further background in other yoga methodology, she weaves a seasonal theme into her teaching. As a former science teacher and naturalist, Kara steeps her teaching in a love of nature. In addition to running the day-to-day operations at Fishmoon Yoga, Kara also co-leads an annual retreat in Puerto Morelos, Mexico. She is a free-lance writer and serves on the board of Journalism New England.
